Kaylee and Alivia

Mariah and Alivia

Skyler and Alivia

Here are the kids holding their new cousin for the first time. They weren't able to see her at the hospital because they don't allow children in the hospitals anymore due to illness and the Swine Flu. They were pretty excited to finally get to see her.

Y.M. Basketball Season Has Begun

Y.M. Basketball Season has begun. Here is Skyler in the #42 jersey. He is a pretty good player and really enjoys it. He just wishes we had more Y.M. on our team and that they could win a game. So far they have lost or had a Bye. Wish them luck this week, they play Kyrsti's ward which means he will play against her brother. Who will she cheer for??? We will see!

New Years Eve

Mariah, Julie, Joe, Cayden, Skyler, and Kyrsti

This year for New Years we went to Joe's sisters house. We played games, and had tons of yummy snacks. Kaylee went with her friend Kyle to his families party. Skyler brought Kyrsti to join in the fun with us. We all had a great time ringing in the New Year together. Happy New Year.

Alivia Eileen Miller

Julie's sister had a new baby girl. Alivia Eileen Miller entered the world on December 31, 2009. She entered the world with a bang on New Years Eve Day. Congratulations Sam and Becca. We Love You.

My "Bestest" Friend...

Yesterday while I was making Cayden's lunch, I asked him if I could sit by him to eat.
Cayden: "Yes, because you are my best friend."
Cayden: " Mom, do you know who my "bestest" friend is?"
Mom: "Who?" All ready to be upset about who was better than me.
Cayden: "Jesus."
I just thought that was so cute. It is so true that Jesus should be our bestest friend, too. I was really grateful that he reminded me of this small and simple truth. May we all try to remember to keep Jesus as our bestest friend throughout our lives.

National Junior Honor Society

This past week Skyler and Kaylee got an exciting letter in the mail. The letter informed them that they had both been invited to be a member of the National Junior Honor Society. All the hard work to get good grades paid off. Congratulations Skyler and Kaylee.
